I have been tying flies since my wife taught me to tie 38 years ago. I have always been fascinated with woven patterns, in particular those originated by George Grant and Franz Pott.

- Hook – Sizes 16-22 1330 daichi
- Thread – 8/0 Uni-thread
- Wing, Tail – Mallard Drake Breast Feather
- Body – Small amount of dubbing in appropriate color
- Hackle – Dry fly neck or saddle in appropriate size and color
